Stage fright and awe
What I’m looking forward to most for the podcast
I’ve got to admit that when we started this podcast, I had thought we’d largely be talking to ourselves initially, and so when I see Michael excitedly sharing the stats, showing that we’ve reached places like Cyprus, San Marino and Lativa, I have to take a deep breath, not just to keep the stage fright in check, but also because I have to admit to feeling a sense of awe. You’re all out there listening to us and, hopefully, realising you’re not alone and that whatever you’re feeling it’s normal and others are sharing the experience with you.
And I guess for me that’s what I would like for this podcast this year, to reach more people and connect them with our community. Because, one wonderful and unexpected benefit of being on this podcast is that I have two very special friends in Michael and Berenice. And, I’d like that for others in the community, even if it’s only listening to us, because connecting with other people represents some healing from the utter shitshow that is being childless-not-by-choice.
