Podcasts we love on International Podcast Day!

We all love listening to podcast so here are 11 that we think you’ll enjoy on International Podcast Day

Made in our community

The Fertility Podcast was set up by Natalie, a mum who went through fertility treatment. It’s really worth a listen for the breadth of experts that she has interviewed and amount of information covered.

Saltwater and Honey have a friendly podcast that shares ‘stories of infertility, life, faith and all the ridiculous things that happen as a result of them.’ Lizzie and Shelia also entered the Rachel Bland award (like us!) and we love their honest and real messages.

Childless Not By Choice is run by Civilla Morgan whose mission is to recognise and speak to childless not by choice women and men around the world. Look out for our Michael Hughes on a future episode.

Unclassified Women with Michelle McGrath Williams who interviews inspiring women around the world. We are very grateful to Michelle’s kind words of support when we first started our podcast.

Other interests (these may mention parenting)

Mentally Yours is a podcast about mental health. Yvette Caster and Ellen Scott of Metro.co.uk chat to a mystery guest each week and discuss all the weird stuff going on in our minds.

Mental Heath Foundation podcasts have lots of mediation and mindful guidance.

The World Book Club, a very addictive podcast that will make you buy more books (or better still make you go to a local library or charity shop for a rummage)

Dear Book Nerd has solutions to life problems like how to talk to people who don’t like reading, what to do with friends who have a bad book list - nerdy and fun!

Griefcast is an award-winning podcast hosted by Cariad Lloyd and deals with death in a emotive but also funny way. The death of Lloyd’s dad at an early age guides her questioning and allows her to make well timed quips to lift the mood.

The Guilty Feminist is presented by Deborah Frances-White with guests who explore how to be a modern feminist in a world of contradictions. It’s presented in a way that never gets too intense.
